Before we left for my parents I checked our pear trees. They were still full of fruit, and I figured we would have canned pears within the month. Today as I drove by the trees looked too perky. Sure enough, there were NO pears to be found, not ONE!!!!
I am so sad, i was looking forward to juicy pears, plus a bunch jarred up for the winter. I guess we will have to net the trees next year, and pick extra apples this year. Now I need to find apple trees to plant.
