The best sound

So, I feel bad, but I have a lot that needs to be done.

So far today I have had my conference call, done some chores and canned 8 pints of dilled beans. The best sound in the world is the pop of the lid sealing, it make my heart full knowing that there is food for the future, all made with love.

I still need to clean another 5 pounds of beans and get them frozen, but that can wait until morning.

The kids have demanded popovers for dinner, I think I have created addicts, and they will eat eggs and sausage since I have so many eggs :)

Now I am off to finish grading and to vacuum and switch laundry. Maybe husband will help out tonight and do the dishes for me, we will see.....
